Smolensko gatvė

Smolensko gatvė is a short but wide street, which runs from Ševčenkos till Naugarduko. It is named after a small city Smolensk, which previously was Eastern province of Lithuania.

Užupis People

Užupis people are mostly young people with alternative views, e.g. artists, bards alcoholics or regular people who knows the way how to enjoy their life ;)

Žemaitės gatvė

Žemaitės gatvė is a wide street which serves as a border between two areas in Vilnius Vilkpede and Naujamiestis.
It is named after famous Lithuanian female writer Žemaitė. See similarity to Latvian writer Aspazija.

Little Flower Market

One of the few Vilnius flower markets is located on Vienuoliu gatve, next to Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Vingio parko tiltas

Vingio parko tiltas is a pedestrian (formerly narrow-gauge railway) bridge over Neris river in Vingio park, which was opened in 1985.
Interesting fact that this bridge is a small copy of Riga Vansu Tilts and it was planned, designed and built by the same people from Leningrad.

Alps

Tauro Gatve in snow always reminds me a twisting racing track called Alps from the famous game Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed.

Not Interesting Snipiskes

When somebody is taking photos of Snipiskes, it is usually Downtown or at least Šanxai. But what else I can take picture of when it is snowing in April and I can't leave the office? :)

Izba

Izba is one of most popular countryside dwellings in Eastern Europe villages and little towns, including Trakai. Part of my childhood was spent in a similar house in a little Belorussian town named Shklov.
